Natafgi brothers were already involved in import and export of yarns & fabrics business, when later in 1991 in line with the country growth and development towards industrialization they took one ambitious step in establishing a garment manufacturing factory at Damascus free zone under the name:

DAMATEX TRADING CO., LTD.

As the need for further expansion rose Natafgi brothers set out in 1998 to build a huge project on a 20 acres plot of land out side of Damascus to fulfill the ever increasing demand of their European as well as American customers. This project was registered under the name:

AL SHAM FOR TEXTILE AND CLOTHING CO., LTD. (DAMATEX)

This plant was built according to highest standards of industry, and was equipped with latest technology and state of the art machinery.
